Several days meditating by the sea
years ago laying on the sandy rocks where your body flocked
water and grain by the herd
our dance at last wicked
more savage than any triumph
for a thrash below shocked blows of sun
our names
only those we exchange
without July
debating time
such monasteries we are
such awesome blue
where orchard blood snaps a belt
all bodies brood
such a mating scene awakes
such earthly souls which quake upon the street
such animals upon the stars
melting slowly.
